Our Story
The Story Behind
Every Dish.
From the Konkan coast to your table — a journey told through spice and sea.
Rooted in Ratnagiri's
Coastal Heritage.
Ratnagiri Family Restaurant and Bar takes its name — and its soul — from the rugged coastline of Ratnagiri, the heart of Maharashtra's Konkan belt. This is the land where every family has a recipe for fish curry, where the smell of coconut oil and dried kokum drifts through every kitchen, and where the sea is not just a backdrop but a way of life.
We brought that spirit to Goregaon East — to Film City Road, opposite Vageshwari Mandir — and built a restaurant that feels less like eating out and more like sitting down at someone's home by the coast.

The Space
Designed to feel like home.
The Fish Tank Wall
Our most talked-about feature: a wall-sized aquarium that naturally divides the AC and non-AC dining areas, filling the room with a calm, oceanic glow.
AC & Non-AC Seating
Choose your comfort. Both sections are spacious, family-friendly, and designed for long, unhurried meals.
Live Music & Bar Evenings
The evenings come alive with music, well-crafted drinks, and the kind of energy that turns dinner into an occasion.
“We don't believe in shortcuts. Every masala is ground fresh. Every fish is sourced daily. Every dish is made with the intention that the person eating it will close their eyes for just a moment — and taste something real.”
Our Cuisine
Malvani, and More.
At the heart of our kitchen is Malvani cuisine — bold, aromatic, coconut-rich, and always deeply satisfying. Our menu spans the full width of coastal cooking: whole fried fish in crispy rawa, slow-simmered crab masala, thalis built around a steaming bowl of Malvani fish curry served with bhakri, rice, and sol kadi.
Beyond the sea, we also serve Chinese, biryani, and North Indian favourites — because family dinners rarely have unanimous opinions, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
